About Mollie
I am a fashion, culture and beauty journalist and a passionate champion of feminism. I have recently interviewed feminist commentators including Dame Jacqueline Wilson, CBE Jude Kelly of the WOW Foundation and Gabby Jahanshahi-Edlin of Bloody Good Period. My writing embraces both rigorous research of investigative subjects and sharp wit. I am a recent graduate of BA (Hons) Fashion Journalism at Central Saint Martins.
Missile is my latest innovation; a feminist mobile app that I visualised, developed, and produced. The platform explores gender inequality and aims to make feminism accessible to the Gen Z readership through written features and interviews. Missile’s investigations include the recent social media movement that saw women rejecting the contraceptive pill and the prevailing gender divide in the drum and bass industry.
I have interviewed a diverse array of authors and fashion aficionados including former Art Director of The Face, Alex O’Brien and sex historian, Julie Peakman. I have contributed to Lampoon Magazine, profiling contemporary, artisan designers, including Max Zara Sterck, and writing thorough show reports under tight deadlines. My experience in fashion PR and marketing includes my role as Marketing Assistant for Rejina Pyo in 2021, based in the designer’s London Studio. In 2019, I worked for DHPR and their clients including Molly Goddard and Shrimps.
As I continue to share the mission of Missile, I am expanding the app and actively seeking feminist creatives, campaigners, and entrepreneurs to contribute to Missile.
